The Administrative Services Department, which includes the City Manager’s Office, Finance, and Redevelopment, is charged with the management of the City’s day-to-day operation. The range of responsibilities that are handled by the Administrative Services Department are varied and include the following:
Cable Television -- Cable television in San Dimas is provided by Time Warner Cable under franchise with the City of San Dimas. Questions concerning cable service may be addressed to Time Warner Cable at (909) 591-4519 or through the City of San Dimas at (909) 394-6210.
Waste Disposal -- Waste disposal is provided to the City of San Dimas by Waste Management of Pomona Valley. Waste Management may be reached at (909) 599-1274 or through the City of San Dimas at (909) 394-6210.
Animal Control -- Animal control services are provided by the Pomona Valley Humane Society. The Animal Shelter is at 500 Humane Way, Pomona. The Humane Society may be reached at (909) 623-9777.
Parking Permits -- Annual overnight parking permits are available for residents who cannot accommodate all their registered vehicles in the available parking spaces on their property. Temporary overnight parking permits are available outside the San Dimas Sheriff’s Station on San Dimas Ave. for residents and guests who wish to leave vehicles parked on city streets between 2-5 a.m. The Parking Division may be reached at (909) 394-6210.
Transportation Services -- The City of San Dimas provides public transportation through the services of Foothill Transit and San Dimas Dial-a-Cab. For more information contact San Dimas City Hall at (909) 394-6200.
Law Enforcement -- The City of San Dimas contracts with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for law enforcement services.

The Finance Division is charged with the accounts payable and receivable process for the City government. The division also oversees the City’s data management program, assists in budget preparation, and administers business licenses.
Business Permits and License Information
The San Dimas Redevelopment Agency has assisted and facilitated numerous community improvement projects since its inception in 1972. The Agency’s projects have been both of a commercial/retail nature as well as assistance in the provision of housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals.
